The damaged tree likely could still have been a home for animals. This, not so much.
I don't understand the need so many feel to make sure that human fingerprints are visible on everything. Like carving initials in trees, spray painting on boulders, stacking stones at the beach.
Can't we look out at the natural world and see that it's the absence of us, or absence of any signs we were there that makes it beautiful?
When the government cuts spending it reduces tax income so if the Government still wants to force a fiscal surplus (as Milei wants) the only way to do so is more austerity.
So either Milei Government is overthrown or external help through IMF (who also want a balanced budget) comes in or Argentina falls further and further into poverty.
At least my liver's not going to resemble a tryptophobia trigger image by the time I'm 40. 'Sides, actively growing my own instead of just buying it gives me a reason to get out in the dirt and sun, and actually give a damn what kind of soil goes into my garden box.
