I'm more of a supporter of the Republic than the CIS

I think the philosophy of the CIS had a lot going for it, but was ruined by them being Sheeve's puppets all along. They never had a chance.

They were RIGHT that the Republic was corrupt.

They may have been technically right about the Republic's corruption but they were clearly rebelling for their right not to pay taxes and to have fewer regulations, rather than for any kind of greater freedom that would have benefited the masses. Just look at their leadership - the banking clan, trade federation, corporate alliance, commerce guild...

It's because "straight" is a term idiots like themselves invented at a time where straight meant "good" and "not broken".

Im contrast, "cis" was coined by smart people to accurately describe them with no inherent bias or value judgment. They hate that sort of thing.
