OK this might be the right idea. You fill it with books, they don't get dusty... they go in the closet or deep in some storage nook.

Then in 15 years you can look at them and maybe part with a few... I can do this!

@vampiress that's a great hat. Reminds me of seeing the 4k release in the cinema and being genuinely shocked to all the detail like these decals I never saw before.

@SJohnRoss I've just tried the (UK) shipping forecast like that and while it does stop me spiralling off on something else, it doesn't actually make me sleepy and is a bit irritating.

I have learned I have the blood pressure of a ninja about to be decapitated in one stroke by a demon-possessed samurai in an anime or chanbara flick, so I must consume nitrate-rich foods, reduce sodium intake, & increase potassium intake. I bought a blender to help with this.

This is a beetroot/banana/berry smoothie. It is... acceptable. On the plus side, "eat more carrots & legumes" means I essentially have a medical card for all the carrot sticks & hummus I want.
