Was just reminded of when I was a very ripe egg/just cracked, and all these women I was following and looking up to, who had been on HRT for two whole years, holy shit they were so far beyond me and it blew my mind what they'd done and I couldn't ever and I'll never be that cool and.... 🤯

Then I reminded myself, very calmly, that I just passed two years and two months. I am those women who blew my mind before. I made it to what had seemed like an unachievable goal.

I've got a scheduled date for bottom surgery. I've got two scheduled dates for FFS consults. I've got a big group of trans friends who've got my back, both online and in meatspace. My body is very different than it was 2 years ago, and much better.

I am Doing the Thing. 😊

Dear the fediverse, particularly my non-binary friends: how would you want to be referred to rather than as "boyfriend" or "girlfriend?" I can think of "enbyfriend" and "partner" but I wonder if others have had more advanced thoughts on it.
