German artist who takes her time.
Stuff you may find on here includes: #watercolour, #acrylic, #photography, bad and good puns, self-made #dioramas, #artnouveau related art and now and then a political toot.
I'll try to remember to tag my art with #tatimitstift.

Does art, likes rain.

NFT stands for Non Functional Tati.

Header shows a photograph of a fawn skull (I believe) on leafy forest floor. Profile picture is a photograph of a robin on a branch.

So, I watched Game of Thrones to the bitter end and was wondering if House of the Dragon was worth watching.

At least when it comes to sex and nudity, I felt like it was a lot less in House of the Dragon. And violence, well, it's still there in battles and now and then outside of that. But it doesn't feel like done for spectacle as it did in GoT. But I get if it's still not for you though. There are times when I wouldn't watch it and it now depends on season 2 if I continue to like it :'D

GoT feels more inconsistent to me. There are the scenes that were taken from the books, the ones that were added by the show runners and the stuff in between. And I feel you can see the differences. HotDs source material is not a novel and therefore the writers have a lot more freedom in writing the story and characters. That feels a lot more smooth (at least to me) and maybe it helps me turn a blind eye to the stuff I so disliked in GoT.

I completely forgot about the tournament, ironically because I tried to avoid the thrown in birth scenes and looked away at those moments. Even though I watched Season 1 a few weeks ago, I don't remember violence and sex and nudity that much, so I could of course be completely wrong with saying, it isn't that present. And in the end there is only one season compared to eight of GoT so... we'll see how that developes :'D

"...and had zero sex/nudity."
Well, that means quite a lot for the GoT universe 😅

Isn't it sad, that you would expect something like that? I enjoyed GoT for the most part, but it is quite an effed up show when it comes to these kind of things. And that just for the sake of shocking.

“CDs are cool again!”

The compact disc was introduced in 1982 and became in 1988 the most popular audio format. CD sales continued to grow until they peaked in 2002.

In 2003 CD sales began to decline and have been rapidly falling ever since. By 2017, CD sales had reached the same level as 1985!

Digital streaming has made it easy to instantly enjoy new music from around the world. It’s fast. It’s convenient. It’s one of the best ways for artists to get their music discovered.

But it’s unfortunately not really profitable.

2021 marked the first increase in new CD sales in 17 years! Artists have embraced CDs as a physical representation of their music, drawing in new collectors and fans. CDs have experienced a remarkable comeback, reaffirming their position as a timeless and treasured format in the music industry.

I hope this will have an impact on DVDs/BluRays as well. I like to have physical copies.
