Got my final Xmas gifts today. I got Sailors of the Starless Sea because you all recommended it. The Oz book, which is the first 5e-related item I’ve bought in months, is a beautiful book.

What are your taverns like? Taverns, cantinas, inns, bars . . . they are the center of any small community, often a de facto town hall. This applies to both Fantasy and Sci Fi, btw, think of Quark's on deep space nine, the Cantina in a New Hope. There's a reason meeting in a tavern is trope.

@Jackgiantkiller Agreed! Always thought pop culture bar examples could've been used better. The bar in Harry Dresden definitely could've gone a Cheers route for instance. 🤔
