i don't remember that particular episode so hopefully they give you a nice little bicycle chase to make up for it

gotta love the bicycle chase, you can always tell they're gonna have one when the bikes in the scene have huge weird saddlebags to hide their modern shock absorbers

This is probably a skill issue, but I actually think Hades, the boss, sucks ass. Doing the "Oh you got my health bar down, now let me show you my true power" shit is hackey. The rest of the game is fun, but when I roll up with two uses of death's defiance and a skelly tooth left, and still get my ass handed to me, this just is not fun.

he's definitely A Lot — and i think almost everyone ends up only beating him with some kind of lucky cheese build the first time

when you feel ticked off, remind yourself that 95% of your long-term progression for any given run doesn't come from beating him

Real talk, I only hate them because Microsoft loves changing " - " to an em dash, except my job involves a lot of matching data up, and so that fucking sucks.

I downloaded Ghostrunner 2 because it was one of the PS+ monthly games for May. This game feels like it really wants to be a rhythm game but it is exceedingly bad at it.

@saddestrobots yeah exactly, if it was in 3rd person or isometric or something, it'd probably be a blast, but moving that quickly in 1st person is a recipe for getting disoriented. I uninstalled it after I beat the first boss.

Also the dialogue feels so stilted. It's just awkward

C is fun, imo

it's a messy beast but not messy in the way that C++/Java are (where they've kinda got their feet planted in different worlds haphazardly)

and there's a lot of interesting code written in C, especially if you're curious about OS kernels

@saddestrobots my friend told me I should learn a compiled language after I said I liked python, and suggested C. I mostly realized I'm kind of lacking growth at my current job and I don't want to stay in data analytics.
