i was obsessed with rube goldberg machines as a kid. when youtube came out i remember one of the first things i was obsessed with watching was intricate like marble run rube goldberg machines. i think there was just some channel or tv show that made them. they were so good. love that shit. love a contraption

the little creature!!

the poss! zoomed out a bit but still a dark grainy picture through a glass door of a virginia opossum snuffling around in the grass next to a covered chair on a concrete patio. they are light covered and fluffy with dark ears and eyes
same possum but their head is up and they look like a weird dog again. inexplicable really
the poss again. also looking like a different weird dog. they look kind of forlorn for some reason. they are kind of staring off into space at the concrete. strange

so I found this tiny running crab spider with 4 legs in the park the other day and I took it home to keep until it molts them back, but it's so small it can't even have fruit flies, and seems intimidated by even the smallest of midges

so here I am, freezing some fruit flies to death (or at least temporary-enough unconsciousness), with a mortar and pestle and sugar syrup standing by, to make the world's grossest concoction

On tv in this medical office waiting room is a baseball game DELAYED BY BEES which are also crawling over one of the cameras and also there is a squirrel running around in the dugout scaring the players and making the fans cheer
