@MugsysRapSheet I think you are missing the fact that voters are on a broad spectrum from ultra MAGA to traditional conservative, and though the most unintelligent are easy to fool, the Mitt Romney like voters and the Liz Cheney types are no longer supporting the orange God.

This puts Trump in an even worse situation than 2020, where he lost.

I have come to dislike the term boomer, because I find, it is often used to disqualify people based on age, and that just makes no sense to me.

In all age groups you can find all kinds of people, and there is no age group which is 100 percent one way.

People are complex individuals — no matter their age.

And if you are wondering why Ticketmaster has not contacted you to tell you about this leak, that is because Ticketmaster is not a responsible company.

Even though the news story does not explicitly say, user passwords have been compromised, I have updated my ticket master password to be on the safe side.

I have a spot where I want to install a trellis up on a wall, with a pot under it, and grow a climber. I was thinking snowpeas but then I realised that this spot only gets fairly late afternoon sun, which may be not enough sun?
What would you grow? I don't care if it's good for wildlife or a food plant or just something pretty or that smells nice..
Can snap a photo of the spot if that would help.

@3TomatoesShort Clematis. They grow quite well in a shaded area, because they are forest climbers.

But it is a really big plant family with 380 subspecies, so you need to ask for one which suits your purpose, or read up on the requirements of the exact one you are offered.

They are really pretty too.

@joosteto I mean the MAGA foot soldiers who broke into the halls of democracy — they were not a professional army.

They caused a lot of riot only because the resources to counter their disorganized attack were not in place.

If a similar group attacks in a similar way in January 2025, where the state is prepared and Trump is not in power, they will realize the difference between boasting beer drinking weekend warriors and the US army.
