There is a lot of negativity about Therapsids. Lots of people (mostly me) calling them "ugly" and "too small heads" and "make up your mind about being a mammal or not" but I'm turning over a new leaf!

Dicynodont?
Why not dicynodo!

@futurebird This seems very niche, but I'm glad you've had an epiphany.

So far the drink tonight is water, but I envision a bit of Writers' Tears whiskey later on.

Cover of the Blue Album by Masters of Reality: An elaborate garden full of statuary under a blue night sky

    @flexghost Oh, I forgot a couple.

@flexghost I bought Too High to Die on cassette, based solely on the first single, "Backwater". Every single track was great. (Admittedly, it took me a while to come around to the bluesy "Roof With a Hole", but within a year or so it was one of my favourites on the tape.)

@flexghost Keep one of these on hand for the inevitable.

Words for which I learned secondary meanings on my trip to the PNW:
    Sound (as in Puget)
    Spit (as in Dungeness)

In addition to the ones above, my husband also learned:
Bluff (like a cliff or steep hill)

Thanks to Monty Python, we both already knew Swallow (type of bird, whether European or African)

@dillyd Where I grew up, a bluff is a small stand of trees.

@vampiress I once read that the IQ of a meeting is calculated by taking the highest IQ in the room and dividing that by the square of the number of legs in the room.

Still trying to find my people on Mastodon. Please boost if you:

    -Like french fries.

    -Enjoy watching TV.

-Have recurring dreams that you are a frog.

-Feel distraught when you wake up and realize that you are in fact not a frog.

-Spend your days studying ancient texts in search of a forbidden incantation that transforms humans into amphibians.
