Now's a good time to learn then (when they will forget your mistakes.)

Rather than specific dishes, focus on techniques. Learn to make pan sauces and your food immediately goes up several levels. Be generous with herbs and spices (those little pots you get in supermarkets are not supposed to last long). Serve white rice on the side and mix noodles in to the dish (pasta is a kind of noodle). Learn to make stock and bone broths, if you cook a whole chicken you can serve the best cuts as part of the meal, save the rest for a stir-fry or sandwiches and you can use the bones and connective tissue to create a broth that you can freeze for later. Vegetable soups are also great and can use up all sorts of bits and pieces. In cold weather you can put them in a thermos as a hot packed lunch.

If you want to make something sweet, store bought rolls of filo pastry can be quite good these days, add some fruit, fresh or tinned, and cook.

Experiment, most importantly. If you don't know how to cook with something, find people from where it comes from and see what they are doing with it.

Committing forces to someone elses operation is risky, especially if you don't have contact with whoever is already on site. In the Shadowrun world there is a real risk that the force attacking the platform is not ideologically allied and is in fact one of MCT's competitors, or even MTC itself trying to manufacture an excuse to strike ecoterrorist assets.

If you want them involved however involve them. They don't have to be perfectly paranoid, or unwilling to exploit the situation, maybe sending another spirit ahead to make contact. They could even have had their own op already past the go point, storming the platform from the sea faster than the HTR could have got there, then bring in the HTR via the air to make things more interesting.

My understanding is that there is no such thing as an assumed licence for copyrighted work. The default is that there is no license and the owner reserves all rights. A license is a way to assign some or all of those rights to another entity.

The downside to copyleft is that you are giving up some of the ability to control the work, and it becomes harder to monetize as some people will question why they should pay for something they can have for free.

As far as I know, you can't use copyright to prevent someone from reading something that has been legally distributed to them. There are also some exceptions your government includes in copyright, like you can be quoted for the purposes of commentary and criticism, there may be exceptions for copies made for educational purposes or an exception that allows the government to make a copy for their archives, or if someone has legal access they might be able to make copies for personal use.

In all cases check your local laws. Copy left is a way to exploit these laws to allow humans to more easily benefit from your work but keep exploitative entities away. All of these only work within a legal framework however.

There is always self improvement. Read, exercise, meditate. So much philosophy is public domain, if you have internet access and a device to read ebooks on then you can read most of the famous texts. https://www.gutenberg.org/ is great. If you have access to a local library then use that as well. You can access almost anything with a library card.

How can i learn hindi in under a month ?

I am planning to go to india for studies (and maybe job ) but to do that i have to pass an exam . Don't get me wrong i am not excepting to ace the test by studying under a month ( while studying a whole lot of other subjects too ) I just want to (barely) pass . And i suppose living there would require hindi aswell because most...

You are probably going to want a tutor that offers an intensive class, that can be done in a month, but you are still going to be looking at 50+ hours.

Do you know what level the exam is expecting?

So you are at about an A1 and want to get up to around a B1? I don't like saying impossible but a month is not long at all. If you can already read it you might do better, just focus on the reading and writing skills, get some sample papers if you can.

How do you address a letter to an army soldier or even a navy sailor on a ship?

I was watching Band of Brother and wondering how those paratroopers got letters from home. Did their family need to know their nearest base? Or could they simply write their name and battallion? If I want to mail a package to a sailor do I just the ship's name? Or a port? I'm not actually mailing anything I'm just curious how...
