Chances are you will be wrong, & if you happen to be right by coincidence, it will probably be no positive reflection on your judgement.

I have no belief in pink elephants on Mars, but I do not identify as an "a-pink elephants on Mars-ist" either.

Why would I want to identify as a non-believer in any of the infinite number of potential nonsenses that exist?

If you don't understand how your political leaders are doing whatever it is that they are doing, particularly the ones you believe in, then stop listening to what they say, just watch what they do, & try to figure out what sort of people would do that, & hence why.

The problem comes with trying to relate their words & your beliefs of them to their actions.

Their actions tell you what they are, their words are just there to confuse you.
