I'm glad that I can now share my AI art mostly peacefully.

When I first started here, I'd get harassed at least 5 times a week for posting stuff that I enjoy.

People shouldn't be vilified for sharing what they enjoy. It's ridiculous that's the case and I will continue to defend my right to post whatever the fuck I want, whenever the fuck I want.

Nobody should make you feel bad for doing something you enjoy. Do it unapologetically.

Are there any #Mastodon API clients that only implement the Private Mentions part?

I've been curious about an app that looks and feels like a messaging or email app, but just for PM's. Having played with the APIs before, I feel like a basic thing might not be that difficult to write? 🤔

@deadsuperhero You could have that in Fedilab when you'd skip all other timelines despite that one for DM which has the option to look like a messenger.

Are people REALLY so bad at using search engines that they normally just accept the first result they get as the definitive answer for their question?

Is there a non-zero number of people who actually put glue on their pizza to make the cheese stick better?

If both of these answers are no, then why are we discussing this nonsense like the sun is going out?!?!

On the other hand, if either of those questions are answered with a YES, then you should not be using a search engine on the internet.

How is BlueSky considered "decentralized" when there's only 1 company that controls the rules and who can and cannot post stuff?🤔

That's not what decentralized means...😬

Decentralized means power is spread out so that one central individual or group doesn't control everything.

BlueSky is not that. BlueSky is centralized and nothing about it is "federated".

The ATproto just seems like theatrics to generate interest in something that isn't really there...😳

@FediTips It works great for me with Firefox on desktop. It also works with android mobile Firefox. Which installed as PWA is really an option.
