@n1xnx @GottaLaff I hope young people realize that if Trump gets elected they may not get the chance to freely protest again. This is the most important vote of their lifetime- to vote against #FASCISM. And nothing else matters.

@GottaLaff Are we all wondering about T's public naps? Drugs, dementia or something more sinister...like he's sure there'll be favorable outcome, for reasons we don't know? I worry about the jury.

I'll live post what I can of the rest of the day's , but I'm utterly exhausted.

We've packed up most of the house (moving May 26), which did me in, even though we've gone so slowly. But all the lifting, sorting, etc, takes it out of me regardless.

We're still packing more today, plus a showing, so I'll be in and out.

This trial hasn't even started yet, not one witness. Yet...

I'm getting Doomers galore in my feed.

A Trumpy helped convict him in an earlier trial.

The prosecutors are vetting the jurors carefully.

I am not Dooming. Not yet.

Can we wait for the trial to be in full swing before predicting the worst possible outcome? Or do people thrive on constant pessimism? I just don't.

@GottaLaff I'm no lawyer, but this strategic delay seems quite explicable. DJT's lawyers are so artful at gaming our criminal justice system. But what would you expect, given their boss?

@GottaLaff With each passing day I have less hope that Trump will be brought to justice before the election, and more faith in the voters defeating him. We all need to do our part in getting out the vote.
