“The district attorney, who campaigned on a promise to prosecute Donald Trump, brought these charges precisely because of who the defendant was rather than because of any specified criminal conduct.”
-Susan Collins

Hey, Susan

Shouldn’t you be happy now that Donald gets to learn his lesson?

@flexghost Hey Susie, you had a chance to get him for specific criminal conduct -- TWICE. You chose not to for political reasons.

On the contrary, giving someone a fair trial when they are indicted for committing a crime, is what having a justice system is all about.

@randahl It is KILLING him to sit in court and have juror after juror say "I believe he has been treated fairly." His narcissism demands that he not face consequences for his actions so he must be treated unfairly. He must be the victim. Narcisissts are always the victim, never the bad guy.

@lowqualityfacts more if you are required to be in the office in a job that can be done remotely because .... we have all this office space we are paying for.

Retired old people who aren't just ... busy being sick and dying give back to their communities in HUGE ways. We had someone's grandpa come to our robotics competition to cheer the team on. The old people in my building do all the serious political organizing and man the polls. I'm too busy working being in my 40s and all that.

Raising retirement ages takes away more than just "retirement" ... it makes everything harder.

Far as I'm concerned it should be 59.

@futurebird 22-25, enter the work force, 50 retire. Then you got 25ish years to enjoy retirement.

Of course a lot of people are still working in their 70s because they need the money.

@wdlindsy Abbot needs to be charged with negligent homicide if he did indeed give orders to not assist even in emergencies.
