I think the word "embarassing" is too polite. Disgusting is a more appropriate word...

The earth is not flat, nor merely 6,000 years old. The Noah's Ark tale is impossible and divergent languages did not begin at the Tower of Babal 100 years after a global flood that never happened. Also, snakes and donkeys can't talk. It is embarrassing that we have to explain these things to people in the 21s century.
