day 10 - The is strapped down and the ferry is leaving port in half an hour. Trip done.

Waiting for boarding I noticed a nasty sharp bit of gravel completely embedded in my tyre. Wriggled it out with the tip of my knife. Then spotted a plant needle sticking out in another spot. Will have to do a thorough once over when I get home.

Home. Had the pleasure of meeting so many nice and cool people along the way. See and do so many bloody brilliant things.

Almost 2500km and 2 mountain tops in 10 days. And breached 15K on the odo.

Happy to be home, happy to have done all that.

While refactoring Pixelfed Groups, I wrote a new media processing pipeline that supports libvips and more formats, as well as the logic that handles optimizations, it no longer strips exif data and preserves color profiles and HDR support

It also uploads to S3 and deletes the local copy during the request lifecycle!

I plan on using this in the main app too ✨

@dansup Reacting to this toot without any contextual knowledge... should exif data not be removed for privacy/security purposes by default and only enabled by choice? Maybe even on a per item case and/or user configurable which exif fields to wipe and which to retain?
