I really appreciate all the kind words of support, sometimes it feels like I only see negative feedback and while I usually take that in good stride and strive to resolve the underlying issues...

I am only human, and sometimes that negative feedback stings more than usual

Rather than letting it get to my head, publicly acknowledging this, and my struggles, are my therapy

I can't prevent pixelfed forks, but I will do my best to accommodate feedback and feature requests, and encourage people to take on a more dedicated role within our project!

We are stronger and better together!

We really need a project manager type person to help me prioritize, so I can do what I do best and leave the community management to someone more skilled in that.

There's a Fediverse challenge which runs throughout June called AudioMo:

  1. Create & post an audio file every day in June using the hashtag #AudioMo. It can be anything including music, speech, sounds, ambient recordings etc.

  2. That's it!

Mastodon lets you post actual audio files, they don't need to be video. They can be any length as long as the file size is under 40 megabytes. Formats can be MP3, OGG, WAV, FLAC, OPUS, AAC, M4A or 3GP.

The challenge also has an account at @audiomo
