7:26, spóźniony o jedną minutę pożegnałem pociąg do Warszawy. Następny mam za godzinę. Co teraz?

Łódź Fabryczna, toaleta 4.50. Na peronach więcej straży miejskiej niż pasażerów ale nie to jest najgorsze. Najgorsze jest to, że za tą godzinę będę w pociągu, w którym internet działa od czasu do czasu, ściśnięty w przedziale z innymi osobami, których nie chce widzieć.

I'm really proud of the new @pixelfed app Discover screen!

We operate a service called beagle that will help pixelfed servers of all sizes discover content.

This means, no matter what Pixelfed server you're signed into, you will have a full Discover page!

Po weekendowym koncercie, w ktorym uczestniczylem wbrew własnej woli, zaczynam używać słowa "podsiadło" zamiast "skisło".

Nie pij tego mleka, zostawiłeś je na noc poza lodówką i całe podsiadło

I'm not perfect, which is why I listen to feedback and implement it accordingly.

Let me give you an example, @kyva commented on a post I made mentioning our onboarding flow is far from perfect.

Instead of ignoring them, or trying to justify it, I asked for their feedback.

They responded with mockups that solve the issue, so I let them know we'll be implementing this in our new app!

I just finished it, and can't wait to ship the new app!!

@dansup do You have any plans to further develop Stories? I mean, with features like possibility to write text, emojis, stickers, adding place pin and so on?

Never anticipated I would add Groups to Pixelfed. I saw how my partner uses FB Groups and it clicked.

This is exactly what we're missing in the fediverse, a means to discover and engage with interests and topics that interest you.

Hashtags and local/network timelines only do so much.

it will be probably a bit tricky to explain people outside of fedi-world why groups aren't on Mastodon but on Pixelfed (aka. "this app for photos and pictures") but it's definetely worth to give it a shot and try :D

More progress on the Pixelfed app!

Gosh this feels so much faster and cleaner 😎

Can’t wait to ship this, now it’s open sourced we can target F-Droid and more!

(Don’t expect me to merge every PR though, I have a solid vision for the app and you may be better off forking it)
