Ginger Rooted

Today I thought you might like to meet our owner, Caramel, so named because he's sweet and soft. Here he is, embedded in my lap. Again.

He's found a family of mice in our vicinity and keeps bringing the poor things into the house. He drops them in front of us, usually alive, at which point they promptly scarper and we spend a jolly hour or so crawling around trying to extricate them from under the sofa.

He thinks it's a great game.

    I just took time to have a closer look at your profile, and saw - you two had an important vet visit. Also read that the blood test came out good. 🙂 I wish Neko improvement of health and many happy years to come!

    We lost Lillis adopted mother to cancer - and so we wish you two, from deep out of our hearts, the courage to overcome this illness.

    February: Pretty Reykjafoss waterfall in Skagafjörður, north-western .

    A landscape photo of an almost completely frozen waterfall, sunlit from the left. The sky is clear blue apart from a few small clouds, and on the horizon are some impressive snow-covered mountains. The middle of the shot is mostly brown rock with ice patches, but in the centre is a cascade dropping in little steps to a canyon in the foreground. The terraces that this falls is dropping onto are caked with thick crusts of ice and water is only flowing in a few small areas. The near bank of the rift is visible at the bottom of the photo, and is very icy.
