A landscape photo of an almost completely frozen waterfall, sunlit from the left. The sky is clear blue apart from a few small clouds, and on the horizon are some impressive snow-covered mountains. The middle of the shot is mostly brown rock with ice patches, but in the centre is a cascade dropping in little steps to a canyon in the foreground. The terraces that this falls is dropping onto are caked with thick crusts of ice and water is only flowing in a few small areas. The near bank of the rift is visible at the bottom of the photo, and is very icy.
