While I was working on compiling a PDF proof of some writing drafts this morning, I realized MS had "enhanced" office with AI. Without asking, without consent.

I was able to do the registry edit solution and now the AI.exe task does not appear to be loading when I go in to work on a draft.

I want to again remind people that AI is an equal opportunity robber. Your rough drafts? Private journals? AI don't care and will gobble that up.

honestly im not sure if the average person realizes that part of the trans experience is that it isnt hyperbolic to be like "a fast food restaurant is trying to have me killed. a company that sells boxes is trying to have me killed"

These absolute fartwaffles can’t conceive of anyone having moral objections to bad things, because they don’t think people who aren’t like themselves have any value.

No, there must be some other reason.

Peer pressure. Not enough sex on campus (yes, really, Google it). Soros paying them. Antisemitism. Brainwashing.

Anything but the simplest explanation: good people demanding that bad people stop what they’re doing.

@thomasfuchs young people have the advantage of not having baked in opinions; perceptive young people follow the obvious things they see with their own eyes and act accordingly. the mental gymnastics of "that genocide was bad, but this one is fine" are a lot more convoluted and rooted in opinion and social elements than "i think genocide is bad actually"

Comments about mastodon, unless they are rather long are deleted from youTube comments.

It's probably just spam detection. But it feels like trying to keep the alternatives secret.

This is how one goes paranoid, I think.
