...but no one is making this racist except those trying to cause arguments, and those who don't understand what women are saying.

Yes, if someone said something racist and meant it, they'd be a racist. Women are not doing that.

Wind feels so much stronger than 20 years ago, at least in Michigan USA.

I don't suppose anyone knows of a site that has wind speed plotted over time? I found a NASA site, but it's difficult to compare years.

@bloopernova@programming.dev avatar

Well, you see, first off you need a microservice to distinguish between those 2 types of step, then you need separate microservices to handle storing those values. Then you need a GraphQL database in a multi zone Kubernetes cluster as a backend...

Ugh I feel dirty saying all that.

bloopernova , to Asklemmy in Audiophiles of Fedi, how do you like to listen to your music?

Love the Meze 99 Classics, worth every penny!

bloopernova , to Asklemmy in Audiophiles of Fedi, how do you like to listen to your music?
@bloopernova@programming.dev avatar

PC Spotify -> Schiit Modi -> Schiit Vali 2 -> PreSonus Eris E4.5 speakers.

Or

Pixel 8 Pro Spotify -> "TempoTec Sonata HD PRO" USB DAC -> Meze 99 Classic headphones.

Does anyone think it's worth moving to Tidal for my music?

Also, I'm running out of space on my desk. I can put the stack of Schiit on top of a speaker with minimal effects, right?

I wasn't offended at all, I was just sympathizing with you, but I must have expressed it poorly because I got those downvotes.

I really liked reading this thread, thank you for making it!

In the USA, there's a huge difference in winter temperatures across the country. In Florida they might consider it cold if it's 10 Celsius, and in Minnesota that would be considered very warm! It's really weird how much the human body can adapt and get used to a temperature. Personally I like it best at 50 fahrenheit / 10 Celsius.

Keep on making posts!

bloopernova , to askmenover30 in Men over 30, how often do you drink?
@bloopernova@programming.dev avatar

I don't. I'm on painkillers long term, and mixing them with alcohol is not recommended. However, I didn't really like drinking before, and I don't miss it now.

@bloopernova@programming.dev avatar

Not trying to say your temperature is not brutal, single digit Celsius can be really nasty for humans. In Michigan in the USA, it can reach -20c in winter, and -40 with high wind chill. You learn to layer and use wind proof outer layers very quickly!
