I built this "Little Free Art Gallery" for my wife a few years ago. She's turned into a prolific artist over the years and creates way more art than our house can handle, and she's run out of friends to gift them to. So now she can give her art away to the neighborhood.

A brown wooden enclosure, about 3 feet tall by 2 feet wide and 1 foot deep, with a gray roof, and a big transparent door on the front. Inside sits a green and yellow swirled hand-painted vase which can be seen through the door. There is a sign on top of the door that reads "Welcome to my Little Free Art Gallery". There are two smaller signs on the bottom of the door which read "Do you like this?" and "You can have it".

    I don't know how, but Lilac is still holding out on us. I can tell she's getting more uncomfortable by the day. And the kittens are really kicking around in there. Last night we thought we noticed a few minor contractions, but it was probably just her body reacting to all the kitten activity. We are on high alert. But as the saying goes, a watched pregnant cat never delivers.

    The view underneath my desk at the very moment. They basically chill with me all day, only leaving to eat, use the kitty box, or chew on things in my office that they shouldn't be chewing on.

    I hesitate to post this pic because I don't want to break the internet 🙂

    He fell asleep in my lap like this last night. It was great for him but not so good for a middle-aged guy sitting directly on the floor, unable to move for about an hour because he's trapped under the cutest kitten in the world.
