Everyone should have a pet ant colony because when you wake up in the morning you can look in on them and they are all always so busy trying their best to organize their little world. It's very inspiring how they are always so excited to make little piles sorting all of the objects in their space.

The carpenter ants decided to move their main trash pile a few days ago and they are just completing the project this morning. All of the debris are neatly piled in corner for me to collect.

What the actual fuck?! I just lost almost 500 followers in the last few minutes!

Update: mastodon.social was the instance. Somehow it ended up on my block list. I have no idea how that happened, but 🤷🏼‍♀️ It seems to be resolved now.

I'm luke-warm on the John Wick films generally. Love bits of them, other bits feel like they outstay their welcome.

But I do love two things SO much:

  1. They love video games, and it shows not just in the action scenes but in the nature of their worldbuilding - hidden hotels, weird currencies, etc.

  2. Stahelski and to a lesser extent Leitch have absolutely put the nail in the coffin of Hollywood’s obsession with Shakeycam action sequences.

@vampiress I don't know what it's called - maybe this? but all the jump-shot action movies of the last 10 years are just unfollowable for me. It's just a vague sense of violence and action. Perhaps this is why.
