Not likely? As pointed out, with high participation, anything could happen. 🤔

An extreme right or extreme left result is good for nobody. RN name change from “National Front” doesn’t make them less dangerous.

Mélenchon and LFI seem determined to replay the fiasco of Labour in 🇬🇧. Short term gains maybe, but later?

Don’t forget that Russian propaganda is at play in 🇫🇷 just as it is in 🇺🇸.

@GottaLaff I somewhat disagree with the first point, that only 50 million voters out of 150 million watched the debate, and probably none of them were undecided voters. That’s because of all the coverage in the press and on social media of what happened.

Why would an undecided voter sign up for a 90 minute “boring” debate? That much is true.

Trump is so inept that he doesn’t understand the basics. That’s why he is so dangerous as a president, even without the insurrection, the pardons of guilty dangerous people, the constant lies, pandering to culture wars etc.

@GottaLaff THE LAST WORD in all of this is that there is NO OTHER CHOICE.

Uncle JOE may not have proven in the debate that he was as convincing as we hoped he might be, but he did prove hours later in North Carolina that he knows exactly what he’s doing and how to fight. That’s also shown later in the clip.

TRUMP did PROVE irrefutably that he is UNFIT to make any substantive decisions of any kind and will NEVER tell the TRUTH about anything.

But yeah. He “won”?! 🤦‍♂️

So, was driving down the highway and this huge pickup truck making aggressive lane changes came zooming up through traffic. It was flying a big American flag upside down and covered with Trump stickers. What is happening here? It's just so sad. How did we reach this point?

@mastodonmigration where I live, those people are next to invisible. They are out of touch with reality because of their choice of (mis)information. They seem to truly believe the outlandish lies that the orange one and his cohorts feed them.

Democracy is flawed. Stupid people outnumber smart people. They used to vote for those they thought were smarter than them. Now they vote for liars, grifters and thieves who take money from them.

Robinhood in reverse. 🤷‍♂️

@GottaLaff @VE2UWY there are also a lot of competing EV’s on the road now too. How many sales has the Chief Twit lost in states like California because of his horrible online persona?

In Europe, they’re advertising EV’s do NOT reach 60 in 5 seconds or less, won’t go for 300 miles, but DO cost $25K, with leases available for €100/month. NOT Chinese either.

Most people don’t need a high performance long(ish) range $50K car.
