WR5 , to News in New York’s Fat Beach Day gives plus-size people a space to be themselves

Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the price that ANYONE pays going to the beach? Generally, you are wearing more revealing clothing, or more accentuates your body parts (wet swimsuits do not hide much). So everyone can be ogled, in fact in my experience from my youth having lots of teenage boy friends, the more slim or conventionally attractive people tend to be ogled much more than those who are not.

WR5 , to News in New York’s Fat Beach Day gives plus-size people a space to be themselves

I may be ignorant of this, but weren't plus-sized people already allowed on beaches? I've been to beaches along the Gulf of Mexico all of my life and have seen plenty of fat people there, and gone with my friends who are fat and never seemed to have any trouble.

WR5 , to Aneurysm Posting in Thanks...?

"3 months from now you will thank us. Hit yourself at third floor!"

I guess the hit yourself is meaning to hit the gym?

WR5 , to Ask Lemmy in If you don't work IT, retail, or food service what do you do for work?

I'm a product development engineer in the biomedical industry. Although from what I read it seems I should have taken a few extra courses in school and gone into software engineering. However I do still enjoy my work (not more than not having to work, but still.)

WR5 , to Progressive Politics in Trump World Reportedly Flirts With a Return to Mandatory Military Service

Unless it's new, I don't believe so. I didn't take it, I graduated high school early 2010s.

WR5 , to random in Florida won't light bridges in rainbow colors. So Jacksonville's LGBTQ community did.

And, to take it one step further generalized: fuck the police.

WR5 , to Ask Lemmy in Now that DuckDuckGo is out. Give me your search prompts and I'll answer them as best I can. That includes images (based on what I have saved on my PC). So what is it you wish to know or see?

Sure, she got some work done but plastics is a bit far. However, I don't think any sane person would call your mom "micro". Anyway, she's definitely down for some dogs in a bathtub and prefers to keep them that way.

WR5 , to Gaming in Best Soulslike game for beginners?

I found Lies of P much more challenging than any of the FromSoft games I've played. I loved it, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for an easier introduction to the gameplay.

WR5 , to NonCredibleDefense in NonCredibleFetish

No, you've made a mistake reading the chart. This is saying a knee fetish would be less weird than a Saddam Hussein fetish.

Hope that helps!

WR5 , to Wikipedia in Caesar cipher

One of the first ciphers/codes you will find in any cryptography or puzzle books! This is a form of ROT cipher which is a substitution cipher using a shifted alphabet. I believe Caesar used a ROT+3, but ROT13 is also really common (which shifts the English alphabet by exactly half).

WR5 , to Asklemmy in Tea drinkers of Lemmy how do you brew your cuppa?

American raised in the Southeast checking in: put tea bags in kettle of water on stove, heat until the kettle whistles, pour into 1 gallon container with sugar, mix while still hot, and finally place in refrigerator for storage.

When its 78 in February and won't cool down until November, having a nice, cold glass of sweet tea is lovely.
