What I didn’t tell you is that we MAY have found a townhouse to buy, which we saw right before the verdict was read.

A recent report found that Americans have become less likely to go out for a workday lunch, and more likely to eat a brought-from-home lunch at their desks.

@rbreich I could probably count on both hands the number of times over the past 30+ years I’ve been working office jobs that I have taken lunch away from my desk. Mostly because management tries to make it sound like you are slacking; in my current job, I did it so I could leave the office earlier, after 8 hours there, even though I’m salaried. Why? To beat rush hour traffic and get away from the owners sooner. Now that I work from home 100%, I still eat at my desk pretty much every single day, though I’ve fallen victim to the lure of DoorDash more times than I’d like to admit.

After planning for all these years for our move to after getting our permanent residency, our house is finally being listed tomorrow. The For Sale sign is going up tomorrow.

Open House on Sunday.
