Office 365 asking for permissions to change browser settings ( lemmy.world )

I have to use certain Microsoft apps for work, so I strictly only use the web versions as I am on Linux. However, just seen this setting pop up in Word while working on a document. I wonder what in specific they would change, considering i am on Firefox. Does anyone know anything about this? Is there an actual good reason for me...

I don't even have the energy to keep resisting the endless flow of bullshit anymore. It gets worse from day to day. What bothers me the most is that it's gotten so bad that i turned apathetic to it. If someone starts spewing right wing bullshit i just zone out until they finished. In the end I won't be directly affected by a right wing leadership in my country but i still can't stand the idea. All the progress we have made in the last few years in terms of equality would just go to waste

Well you can only have one vpn on at a time. on normal android anyways. Im pretty sure you could change that but i got no clue about networking

Same for me. First thing i did after buying a pixel was install GrapheneOS. However i felt like it was to locked down in the name of security so i switched to rooted lineageOS

I don't run google services but afaik there is just an extra zip called "gapps.zip" that you flash after lineage itself

My problem was a lack of freedom: i couldn't change some settings that i wanted and also i couldn't give gadget bridge the necessary permissions to function properly. I need gadget bridge for my pine time smart watch

Currently im not using any google services except vanced microg i currently plan on using the proper microg to get google play working. Afaik there is a "LineageOS for MicroG" but not sure wether that's official or even up to date.

Destroying infrastructure will always lead to civilian deaths unless it is a pure military installation. As soon as you destroy just one wrong substation (because your Intel was wrong or whatever) you are killing innocent civilians, even worse if a hospital was hooked up to that sub station
