They didn't have the votes so they pulled the bills. Then Johnson called an early recess and jetted off to Paris. 6 days to shutdown.

Should Democrats be concerned about the possibility of Trump winning? Yes. Anyone who didn't learn from 2016 is an imbecile.

That said, polls a year before the election-and therefore a year before we plaster the airwaves with a billion $+ in advertising, before Trump is a convicted felon, aren't worth much. We also should have learned from the "RED WAVE!!1!" fantasies of 2022.

I really am tired of throwing an important term like genocide around. When you say "Stop Palestinian Genocide" ask why the Palestinian population in Gaza increased by 100% in 20 years (The pop birth must decline for genocide). Why is there no prerequisite systemic mass murder of EVERY ONE OF THE 2.1 MILLION GAZANS? ... like Rwanda, Bosnia, Cambodia, or what HAMAS tried on 10-7. Try some facts before you throw around terms you obviously don't understand.

Just bc it's your OPINION it isn't a legal basis of fact. Has Israel's policy skirted it in aspects? Clearly, but War against terrorists is not genocide by definition even with civilian casualties.

I don't know where you think he could go. He's term limited. Both Senators are Republican and he is not popular enough to primary them, even if he could get the money to do it. He could run for Congress again I suppose.
