She was deported to Auschwitz from Rome on 18 October 1943. She did not survive.

Israel has killed more than 32,000 Palestinians in Gaza, displaced more than 80 percent of the population, destroyed large parts of the territory and imposed a suffocating blockade, bringing the enclave to the verge of famine.

@appassionato @palestine International diplomacy has never been and never will be about justice. It is nothing but dirty geopolitics, without consideration for humans. Only (international) courts can bring justice. So, if possible at all, indict the US for being an accomplice to genocide.

14 January 1927 | German Jewish girl Vera Judith Schlein was born in Magdeburg. During the war she lived in Amsterdam.

In January 1944 she was deported from Westerbork to Theresienstadt ghetto, from where she was taken to Auschwitz on 19 October 1944. She did not survive.
