He promised lower taxes and a rollback of Biden's climate regulations and clean energy programs in return.

Trump is literally willing to take bribes in exchange for the destruction of the planet.

Petro Execs should be warned.
They should all do dilligence on the multi-indicted former president's abilirty to keep his promises.

They should remember his life-long business history of not paying his vendors AND once he has your donations he's under no obligation, other than his word, to follow through.

I'll leave to all you ultrasharp
businessmen what that's worth given his history.

Not as long as his money laundering operations are functioning.
How else could someone who blew his inheritance in the mid-nineties and continues to reverse Midas everything he touches still have assets.

Don't ignore rhetoric but take it with grain of salt.
His intensifying rhetoric keeps base and acolytes angered to irrationally act out if he needs them to.
He uses his willing mob as leverage.
His mob needs to remember Jan 6 insurrectionists jailed and ruined beacuse they followed his lead.
Mr. "I'll be right there with you" hid at WH Jan 6.
If Secret Service wouldn't drive him, all he had to do is start walking to Capitol, they'd have to follow.
Remember who sold you out 6 Jan 2021.
