In past conflicts America has always had plausible deniabilty.

This time israel is screaming from the rooftops that they want to kill every man woman child and animal in Gaza. And then doing it

Cutting off food water and medicine also doesn't help. Nor does Biden repeating Zionist propaganda about beheaded babies or rapes that didn't happen. Or command centers under hospitals which were quickly forgotten about in the media after zero evidence was found of their existence.

Whether it works or not, it will massively tank the reputation of these institutions if they side with Genocide Joe.

It means opposing israel's policy of making the land of Palestine a Jewish ethno state. It's basically like opposing the modern day Nazis.

For example on Lemmy, on /news the mods will ban any website that is denoted as "anti-Zionistic" because they deem any website that opposes israel as untrustworthy.

I posted a few articles on Lemmy debunking the made up rape allegations by the New York Times which subsequently got removed because MBFC describe them as an "anti-zionist outlet".

When asking what in the article was false (because it was full of links to sources) they refused to respond. They forgot however that /news does not even have any rules about MBFC in the sidebar. /worldnews also has some Zionist mods but it's not nearly as bad.

As for MBFC, MBFC in itself seems to promote only outlets which have now been proven to be ran by Zionists which all reported the 40 beheaded babies lie as fact, and continue to post about lies such as the raped women (which has now been completely debunked)

Also interesting is that /worldnews (this one) is removing the mod I spoke to about the MBFC requirement

MightBe has been removed as mod from both World News and Politics.

I also unpinned and removed their rule change posts.

I discussed that articles with sufficient sourcing and evidence should be allowed no matter their MBFC rating, since MBFC has clear bias to sites such as The Grayzone for example. The irony of MBFC Analysis is deep:

Most alternatives use Rockchips such as Rk3566 or 3588 which are better in every way to the Pi chips of their respective price points. As long as they don't use the Allwinner chips it's usually decent out of the box but still a bit lacking.

I like Orange Pi more. They have pretty good out of the box documentation and a good range of hardware.

Radxa is also an option but they seem to offer the same stuff as Orange Pi but more expensive.

Pi 5 sucks massive balls.

They now require a special power supply for it to work else it just crashes under load. Their use of USB C is insanely confusing because it doesn't work with any normal USB C psu.

This power supply costs 15 bucks which conveniently isn't included in the price. Also a heat sink that costs 6 bucks.

Also they stuck with micro hdmi which sucks. (even more special accessories needed)

The required accessories almost cost as much as just an old pi.

I hope the community jumps over to Rockchip based boards soon. Pi has taken the communities open source efforts and spit in their face.

Risc5 is also interesting but that seems to be a far bigger task since it need recompilation of a lot of existing stuff

I could say the Orange Pi 5, however Orange Pi's ports currently tend to only work with specific accessories which they already wrote drivers for themselves. It's not like they're blocking other devices, but just like how RPI still needs a lot of work to support GPU's with drivers, Orange Pi probably needs even more.

The integrated GPU is pretty good though.

Most alternatives to RPI use a Rockchip such as the RK3566 for mid range and RK3588 for high end stuff.

There's also the new cheap 15 bucks LuckFox Pico with Rockchip RV1106 with a small NPU for AI projects, kind of a Pi Pico alternative.

Yeah power seems like such a small thing but for an SBC it's a pretty big deal.

The power usage is also pretty crushing for it the Pi's usage in hobby Robotics. Finally we have some computing power but now it's unusable because how are you going to get 5V5A from a powerbank? We could power the Pi4 from a decent USB C supporting powerbank, But this is no longer the case for the Pi5.

If they supported "normal" USB PD then at least a powerbank with quick-charge support (9v3a) would work and give you the same total 25W wattage. And the PD USB chargers would have been way cheaper because 9v3A get mass produced. This 5V5A is some Apple tier of "propriatary" standard and I really wonder why they did it.

Biden barely won last time. And the only reason was because he clearly was the lesser evil. Now Biden is just as evil as Trump he will no longer get all those votes.

Either he gets replaced as a candidate as quickly as possible, or the Democrats will lose this one. Because there are too many non-cultist democrat voters which have "committing genocide" as a red line that they will not cross.

Whereas Trump cultists will 100% vote for him no matter what happens, the Democrats have to actually play their theatre role of "being the good guys" and Genocide Joe went full mask off Nazi this time.

We're talking about their actions at this very moment. Not them as an organization. I am saying that this action is justified, nobody here is supporting the Houthis as an organization.

If Kim Jong Un decided to block to Red Sea to support Palestinine instead of the Houthis it would be just as morally correct.

If America did it I would support it too.

It's about getting water, food and medicine to little children who are getting their legs amputated without anesthetics as if it's a SAW movie.

This is false. The first ship they hijacked was claimed to not be israeli related but turned out to be owned by israeli businessman Rami Ungar

The second ship with bio gas supposedly only went to Italy, but later came out that after the stop in Italy it had a transport to israel planned.

I'm not going to to claim that every single ship was israeli. I have not looked into other vessel attacks since then. But at least the first big two that reached to news were in fact directly linked to israel despite initial claims that they weren't.

As small as they are, there are left wing groups that want to find reconciliation and cooperation. And plenty of youth have refused their compulsory service with the IDF.

I highly respect people such as Gideon Levy and other speaking out against the atrocities and refusing military service. If all israelis were like that then this conflict would already be over. But most israelis are currently voting right wing governments in power. Most israelis even support the current genocide.

There were even people killed by Hamas that were peace activists. Which is incredibly sad. But the fact remains that all those good people are completely outnumbered and despite their peaceful activism israel has moved more and more towards full on Nazism the last few year.

It also makes no sense for the Israelis to think they’re superior to the Palestinians – only half of Israelis trace their ancestry from European Jews. The other half have the same ancestry as the Palestinians. They’re all semites.
