Artist working in many different styles and mediums. I paint what is in the moment with what I have on hand. the dominant paradigm is what was once the avant-garde. Now the art world is oversaturated with abstract, ready made and conceptual art.

I love to make art for the love of art not some jumped up linguistic nonsense. I love brushwork, color and ideas but prefer to create things that don't require three phd's to interpret.

Spotify's relationship to artists can be kind of confusing. On the one hand, they pay a laughably low per-stream rate, as in homeopathic residues of a penny. On the other hand, the Big Three labels get a fortune from Spotify. And on the other other hand, it makes sense that rate for a stream heard by one person should be less than the rate for a song broadcast to thousands or millions of listeners.

@pluralistic it strikes me that this is also the industry response to social media breaking their iron grip on the industry. I get to hear and discover so much music that never would have seen the light of day when I was a kid. If the musicians don't need big labels then big labels are going to try it without musicians. I sincerely wish them no fortune in this attempt to stifle human creativity...

They come to me late at night, when my mind is empty and I'm sleepy. All were painted late at night in an ecstatic rush. They all glowed on the easle like a finished sword ready to be quenched.

I have always held ravens and crows in high regard. For the celts they were messengers. I believe the message changes for each viewer. I won't see a subject with the same semantical filters as anyone else. All I know is when they come, they bring magic.

@rbreich since they flip flop on every single issue to "own the libs" nothing is a perfect caption. Nothing is exactly what they stand for.
