while i do feel bad for the innocents caught up in a genocide, i do kinda want to protect myself first? while biden isnt necessarily doing me that many favors as a trans person, i do genuinely fear for the future trump would have. I dont really want to have to be caught up in this, but until i have the ability to actually so much as try to leave for canada, there isnt much that i can do aside from trying to make sure nothing happens to me. I do wish third party was viable, but unfortunately our system just isnt made for that. and so while i would prefer not having a facist, all i feel im allowed to ask for is a facist that doesnt want specifically me dead
