Me: I have an extreme fear of kiwi 90s one-hit wonders

Therapist: How bizarre ...

(Definitely the most niche joke I will ever post - but the tune 🎶 is decent, and I can't resist it as I used to jog in the location of the video ... kudos to anyone who can identify it!)

Have any of you using KeePass got it integrated into Firefox? It looks like a hassle to set up and I don't know if it'll be efficient to use with a screen reader like that.

There is no way to add a content warning (CW) to someone else's post you want to share. This can make it difficult to share a post if you think it should be behind a CW.

However, a possible workaround is to make a CW-ed reply to the post you want to share, telling people to view the post you're replying to and warning them what it contains. You can then boost this CW-ed reply to your followers.

If you want general tips on Content Warnings, see the guide at https://fedi.tips/how-to-use-content-warnings-cws-on-mastodon-and-the-fediverse/

My kitchen floor was cracked, so I decided to repair it by pouring cement onto it. Sadly I didn’t do a very good job, and the cement didn’t lie flat. So to cover up the problem, I moved one of my kitchen appliances over the raised areas.

I ended up having a fridge over bubbled mortar.

I remember sitting at school learning about Pavlov and thinking 'those stupid dogs'.

Then the bell went and we all had lunch

@Natasha_Jay When I was at school a teacher told us all that we were all like Pavlov's dog when the bell went.

Is there an online group for blind musicians that isn't Facebook? So an e-mail list, forum, discord server etc?
I don't mean one dedicated to your favourite DAW of choice, I'm in a couple of those already. I mean just a general musicians group if that makes sense.

I went to the zoo the other day and in one cage all they had sitting in the middle was a sliced multi-grain loaf.

Turns out it was bread in captivity.

It may not be Stonehenge, but it's still pretty impressive (and a thousand years older): the 'hunebed' at Borger, built 5400 years ago by the funnelbeaker culture. It was used as a burial mound for important people -- it would have been covered with earth, with one or more entrances left open.

@victorgijsbers @SJohnRoss If a future culture did the same with us, I wonder what we'd be called.

I'll do a predictive sentence thing.
On your predictive keyboard, type "My cat likes sitting on" and let it finish the rest.
My cat likes sitting on my keyboard too and it makes it look good.

The DragonsCave instance I'm on has a load of custom emojis that I think are quite unique. Naturally there's a load of dragon ones, like whatever :dragon_coolmlem: is. It's called dragon_coolmlem. What's a mlem when it's at home?
There's also a load of eyeless blobcats like :eyeless_blobcat_uwu: (eyeless_blobcat_uwu which I think is an anime smile thing) because the majority of the people on here are blind.

I was just thinking about all the US songs that name-drop places over there.
the one I was just listening to goes "We used to be happy once upon a time/But the sun sank west of the Mendocino county line.
    Why Mendocino county.
then I thought about if they used an English place instead. But the sun sank west of the Greater Manchester county line. Or The sun sank west of the Rochdale Bypass. Doesn't really have the same ring to it does it?

What I love about rick Riordan's novels is the thing of setting ancient myths in modern times. what I don't like about them is the sheer amount of teenaged angst and people not communicating with each other.
So, I'd love to read something like that, but for adults. Any recommendations welcome.
