I got Red Dead Redemption 1 for Father’s Day. I’ve played RDR2, and the reduction in graphics and controllability is so interesting. Lots of fun so far, though. I’m eager to see where the story goes. I’m sure John Marston will live a long, happy, healthy life.

I'm just checked to see where my 2e book was since it was in Chicago, IL as of this morning. It's in freaking St. Paul, MN? You have to pass Madison to get there from Chicago!

Going to GameHoleCon!

Who else is going? I've received a press pass, and will be attending GameHoleCon in October. I can't wait to go, as it's my first gaming con since GenCon 2011. I can't wait to see so many of my online friends in-person, and play a LOT of games! If you're going, comment below! I'm considering doing a livestream. I'll switch between painting and talking about gaming. I'd probably start with twice a week. But I need to decide whether to do Twitch or Youtube. If I do Youtube, I can use it to build an audience there now that TT’s going away.

For the Tabletop days, I'd look at different RPGs, flipping through them and chatting with the chat about it. It'd probably a bit more chaotic than the paint stream. But then the videos would be up and available on Youtube after.

@LeviKornelsen not sure what they mean by “like a board game.” The Labyrinth game is very much an RPG. There’s a really interesting element in it of a kind of choose-your-own-adventure mixed in for the adventure part, and that’s here as well. But not like a board game at all.

@LeviKornelsen Yeah, so the adventures have locations on each page, so they'll tell you which page to jump to for every location. In this book, it's more open, whereas in Labyrinth, you are constantly moving forward in the book, placing a bookmark on previous pages so if you go backwards, you can only go so far back.

@Tim_Eagon They released a second edition (called 5e), a few years back. It removed the EXTREME crunch, while making it no longer a retroclone of 1e AD&D.
