Our favorite Squeaky Beetle has returned!

This year, I found 'em in pretty sad shape, upsidedown in a puddle on the front step. I picked good ol' SB up, and set 'em in their usual spot. They hung out for a night, then took off again.

It's like a fun relative at this point, drops in once a year, says hi, stays over for a few days, then heads out on another adventure.

This is the 7th or 8th year SB has visited us.

@alice It’s a June bug. Our cats used to bring them into the bedroom and play with them at 2am (squeak, squeak…) until we rescued them..
