If I hear one more try to tell me what a great president Ronald Reagan was, I am going to break something. No one is more responsible for the anti-government fuckwittery that his entire presidency first validated. The vile Heritage Foundation was CREATED in the halls of the white house where its staffers practically slept on cots near the oval office. No single president is more responsible for the MAGA aphorism:
“I’ve got mine, I really don’t care about yours.”

Sometimes I have a hard time believing what I see, when I follow Trump on social media…

But I promise you, this is a real screenshot of what Trump has shared yesterday: A picture of God protecting him, containing a prayer asking God to strike down all enemies who [actual quote:] “what to harm him”.

After an entire week exposing Trump's crimes and extramarital affairs, he is sharing God memes — no political agenda, no vision for America.

This is not a party — it is a cult.

@randahl People often don’t realize that Fascism isn’t a real ideology. It is more of a hysteria that has no intelligible agenda other than to cling to some romantic nostalgia for how things “ought” to be and almost always centers around the personality of one charismatic individual. It is akin to cult behavior. A true ideology focuses on a fairly well defined agenda and not on a particular individual.
