We didn't find the nest of these Pacific wrens, but they mush have fledged that day. the little ones were not good at flying.
Mom kept trying to feed them a spider, but none of them wanted it.

Pacific Wren Fledglings. they have yellow beaks and look grumpy. both are standing on a branch waiting.
a Pacific Wren standing on a vertical branch with the sun just hitting his head. He has a very short vertical tail. I imagine he recently lost feathers there.
