Technically this is a blend of the last couple grams of Yunnan Sourcing GABA Osmanthus Oolong (mostly osmanthus flowers) and White2Tea's Osmanthus Oolong. It's actually kinda good, a successful blend.
"Garden Grove" White2Tea Fujian black tea was one of my favorites from last year's spring/summer drop.
Wonder if they will make it again this year? The disadvantage to W2T'S relentless experimentalism, is you never know if they'll continue to make a tea you enjoy.
Fujian Breakfast is a not too fancy reasonably priced Fujian Black Tea from White2Tea. Flavors are on the fruity-malty side. If you drink black tea regularly, always pays to check out White2Tea's lower priced offerings, almost always very good price/quality ratio. And offered in the handy 250g bag. Haha!
After protests from the peanut gallery about yesterday's black tea, I have returned to my green tea plunger pot hijinks. (2022 White2Tea Cloud Mist Green.)
Mrs Flannestad requested some green tea, so got out the plunger pot to make a larger batch. Trying to remember what timing/ratio I used to use with this thing. 7g in 500ml 190F/90C for 2 mins seemed pretty good. Then second steep for 3 mins.(White2Tea's Emerald Buds green Tea.)
2019 Arbor White from White2Tea is a sun dried Yunnan white tea made from large leaf varietals. Similar to Yunnan moonlight white tea, but unlike Yue Guang Bai, made from spring material intended for puerh production and sun dried, rather than shade dried. Well on its way to being aged white tea, good body in the soup, slight medicinal character in later steeps, and calming energy.
