Reuters cites an #UNRWA report as stating that kidnapped staffers of the agency were pressured by Israeli authorities into falsely stating that the agency has #Hamas links and that staff took part in the Oct. 7 military operation.
The reports added that Israel's ill-treatment of UNRWA staffers included severe physical beatings, waterboarding, and threats of harm to family members.

The reaction from Israel was extremely strong and called for his resignation and the usual blood libel and other crap. Almost 2 years later, an internal investigation in Israel came out that several members of Israeli military and custom officers were involved in a global organ trafficking using Turkey as their main base of operation.
The second story didn't get any publicity and most people don't even remember them, but they ruined the life of that reporter because they claimed that he was part of the global anti-semitic group trying to spread lies about Israel.
