    An adaptation of Magritte's The Return, featuring a nest with eggs and the shape of a flying bird filled with blue sky and clouds in the sky beyond. In this version we have the same nest, but instead of a bird flying there is a profile of a large knitted chicken filled with blue sky and clouds, sitting by the nest.

    A photo taken through a wooden doorway and room partition to a wall beyond with a cupboard (possibly a dumbwaiter). The bottom half of the wall is wood panels, the top painted cream. The floor is red and black diagonal checks. The cupboard has a rectangular opening, then arched wooden doors above, which have a door handle on the far left and far right - these have been covered by googly eyes. The open section has had teeth added. It looked like a face before I got hold of it though, honest. There is a modern sign on a pole to the right, with an arrow pointing towards the face.

    Was thoroughly windswept on my walk today. It was beautiful, lush and sunny but the wind was unexpected.

    Many years ago there was an art show for kids on UK TV which would show a gallery of viewers pictures while playing Left Bank Two. When I got to a year of dancers I thought I should at least put them to music once, but finding something to fit them all would be impossible, so I thought I'd make a musical gallery with that vibe.

    Here it is. A year of Fridays & some easy listening.

    A hand drawn animated video. A rainbowappears and disappears on screen with sparkly ends as the title screen reads: Project #FridaySparklyDancers. Sparkles and rainbows and groovy moves. Initial target: add a dancer every Friday until I run out of space. Secondary target: may as well try and do it for a year now..." Easy listening music comes in and a series of 52 clouds drift by, some going left, some right. Each has a rainbow appearing and disappearing, and a single dancer doing their unique and occasionally inexplicable moves. Each cloud has a number, showing which week they were the dancer for. At the end the copy reads "Have a good weekend if you possibly can" with the word good also surrounded by the words sparkly, wonderful, funky, joyful, splendid and relaxing.

    It's Friday! YAY!

    It's getting increasingly difficult to fit all the dancers on to the screen & make loops that fit with ALL THE OTHER LOOPS (it totally stuffed the timing for this one) so next week will be the last, when I hit a year (!)

    I like having a Friday Thing though, so will do #FridaySparklyDanceParty any week there are volunteers, & probably just random dancers on other weeks.
