    THE GUNSLINGER: THE DEAD TOWN (1982)

    Throughout most of my career as an illustrator, I took the unusual approach of rarely using models. 1/3

    On a dusty, titled horizon, the Gunslinger stands with pistols gripped in each hand but now resting at his side. Bodies pile at his feet and dozens more extend in a line that snakes to the foreground. Various weapons, from scythes and machetes to bricks and boards, lay discarded in the lifeless dirt beside the twisted, bloody corpses.

    ✨ Silly Triangle Hours ✨

    Was a little stressed today so I doodled some silly Nephs c:

    A chibi illustration of the same character, a triangle shaped objecthead with a singular eye and no other facial features. Each chibi has a different outfit, the first being a suit, the second a halter top with a light pink sweater over it and some light blue jeans, and the third wearing a pink and white striped bikini. The first chibi has a surprised expression, the second has a stressed expression, and the third has her eye closed, posing with one hand on her hip while is holding up a peace sign with the other.

    An orange troll with smallish red hands trips over a rock and hurtles forward, dropping its large black club. The giant looks like it is wearing a suit and tie. The giant does not have any discernible facial features, although it does appear to have a lot of unruly hair combed forward. The sky is a turmoil of gray clouds. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or undead, is purely coincidental.

    Another cover from The Martian Tales by Edgar Rice Burroughs. I had to be careful with Thuvia, as everyone on Barsoom goes nude, and yet full-frontal nudity was unacceptable for the cover. 1/4
