A vibrant and colorful mosaic of cannabis leaves, rendered in a pixelated art style that emphasizes a digital, almost retro video game aesthetic. The leaves are depicted in a variety of bright colors, including shades of orange, yellow, green, blue, and pink, giving the scene a dynamic and lively feel. The pixelation adds an interesting texture, with each leaf composed of small blocks of color, creating a pattern that is both intricate and visually engaging. This artistic choice enhances the natural shape and detail of the cannabis leaves, transforming them into a vivid tapestry of color and form.
A beautifully arranged array of cannabis leaves, displaying a rich spectrum of colors from deep greens to vibrant purples, fiery oranges, and radiant reds. Apparently I have now become so decent at grammar and sentence structure, that I look like ChatGPT.🤣🤣🤣

As a large human model, this is quite a hilarious revelation! :kek:

Now, that being said, here's some GOOD uses of AI:

    1. Correct grammar/spelling/word usage

    2. Summarizing long form text

    3. Suggestions for a wide variety of things.

    4. Searching (Fuck you google)

    5. DnD gamerunning, either assisted or as an actual DM (this one I am probably misrepresenting, unfortunately. I am not an actual DnD player. So I guess I am wishing this😬)

It's a sad state of affairs when one of the most AI-positive people on Fedi starts rolling his eyes at these asinine implementations.

I am starting to resent the devs in this space who are obviously misrepresenting the tool and making everyone hate it.

    Sincerely,
Fuck you for ruining everyone's perception of something that could be a good tool for humanity.

Well, damn. Midjourney has opened it's "alpha" website to users who have generated over 100 images, which is probably anyone whose been apart of the platform for a week.

That means Midjourney's image generation is now on the web!

When it's finally not in "alpha" anymore, this will open up the platform to SO many more people who hate Discord or just don't know how to use it.

    Excited for the future!

AI-generated books on Amazon now have the potential to kill people, as they've moved into the realm of mushroom foraging. Guides have popped up like, well, mushrooms, packed with information that makes no sense and could easily be dangerous, illustrated with structures that are "the mycological equivalent of a picture of a hot blond with six fingers and too many teeth," writes Vox's Constance Grady. Here's more.

AI errors are hard for us to see.

“…the hardest kinds of errors to spot. They couldn’t be harder for a human to detect if they were specifically designed to go undetected. The human in the loop isn’t just being asked to spot mistakes — they’re being actively deceived. The AI isn’t merely wrong, it’s constructing a subtle ‘what’s wrong with this picture’-style puzzle.”

This lawsuit is a minor headache for . Allegedly a woman was fired for doing her job which was keeping Amazon’s from using content illegally (probably copyrighted material).

Her boss reportedly did not like that “do-gooder attitude” & demoted her, before firing her during maternity leave. This case could open up lawsuits against Amazon’s in the future.

I feel kinda sad for all the people still posting complaints about stuff they know won't go away or be changed. It's like if I went online and bitched EVERY DAY about not getting a million dollars, fully believing that by doing that I'll eventually get a million dollars....

Unfortunately that's not how the world works and people ranting about stuff like AI, thinking it's doing anything besides making them look like a crazy person, is just so sad.🤦‍♂️

It's not going anywhere. It really isn't. I'm sorry to break it to you like this. I hope you can move on and find something more important to spend your time complaining about.
