These are both vastly preferable, more efficient, safer, more reliable and more plausible than satellite and private vehicles. @bhawthorne@rsf92@pluralistic Our neighbors in Leverett, Massachusetts also built out fiber to the home, mostly because the cable companies refused to provide (it wasn't dense enough to be profitable enough for them). I tried for years to get Amherst to do the same, without success. Finally, it's happening, but it's still about a half-mile away from my house. 😕 #WesternMass
