He is shiny and glorious

18+ Alice_Swaggen OP , 8 days ago I found another stag beetle, she’s trying to climb me like a tree with the determination of a lady on a mission for uppies, her claws are scratchy and I love her :blobaww: #StagBeetle #bugstodon #insect A macro closeup of her face with a blue background, she is looking up at the camera desperate for uppies and it’s adorable. Her antennae are shiny and detailed with little 4 point clubs on the ends. There’s also a tiny band of yellow fur where her head meets her thorax A side view closeup focusing on her abdomen, she is shiny and covered in tiny pores and her underside has lots of little fluffy hairs. The three segments of her body have a thin band of yellow fur between each one. She also has some thick, strong-looking thighs. She’s perched on some tree bark and the background is a green blur She is clinging onto my blurry fingers and looking into the camera, her front right foot is in focus and it looks so glossy and shiny, if you zoom in you can see how sharp those two hooks are and there’s a little short one in between that forks into 2 much smaller hooks
