Shepherds have entrusted their herds to dogs for thousands of years. As if they were family, guard dogs chase away anyone who approaches the herd without permission. Here is a French Pyrenean mountain dog with a certain resemblance to the animal it is protecting. #myphoto

Here is a window I peered through in Barcelona on April 3, 2018. This store, Tarlatana, was filled with unique handmade blank books and journals. It was intriguing to look through this window at the diversity of journals, a diarist’s dream.
