will be replaced by a guy who sure sounds a lot like Mitt Romney.

Rep , who has occasionally bucked , won a crowded on Tues for Romney’s seat. He beat Trent Staggs, a candidate w/ Trump’s blessing, to secure a win for the mainstream GOP in a devout state that has long proved skeptical of Trumpian .

"While it may come as a surprise to many, most religious groups today favor the legality of abortion. In fact, there are only four (out of 16) religious groups in which a majority say abortion should be illegal in all or most cases: white evangelical Protestants, Hispanic Protestants, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Latter-Day Saints. Even combined, these four outlier groups only constitute one in five Americans."

Regardless of this poll, the official LDS church position is much more flexible. It frowns on it, but says it's ultimately between people and God, sin-wise, because only individuals know their own situation. The church is big on free agency and personal accountability. And it's hard to pin down on this issue for a definitive, in all cases position.

Of course, when you look at the State of Utah, which is ruled by a GOP and LDS super-majority, you get a solid, no abortion position. So that's where the poll is probably getting the position.
