I saw a Noisy Miner (the bird, not a rowdy extractive industry worker) fail to grab something from the road, stopped to look, and saw this splendid stick insect marching towards me. I picked her up, took some photos, then deposited her on a nearby tree.

I've been poking at learning to draw dragonflies and it turns out that insect wings are very complicated! Quite pleased with how my simplification here turned out. :)
